The Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising site activities related to steel structures, precast elements, roadworks, and drainage works. The role requires close coordination with consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams to ensure that works are carried out safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing site works related to steel structure installation, precast works, roadworks, and drainage systems.
Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site supervisors to ensure smooth work progress and timely completion of works.
Review construction drawings and resolve technical issues on site.
Ensure compliance with project schedule, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Prepare and submit technical documents including method statements, material submissions, shop drawings, and work inspection requests.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, and relevant authorities regarding site matters and inspections.
Monitor site progress and prepare progress reports.
Ensure proper implementation of workplace safety and health practices on site.
Assist in resolving site technical issues and providing engineering support to the project team.
Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline.
Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in steel structures, precast works, roadworks, or drainage construction projects.
Familiar with construction practices, technical drawings, and project coordination.
Knowledge of local construction regulations and safety requirements is an advantage.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic engineering software such as AutoCAD.
Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
