We are seeking anexperience Employee Relations & Investigations Partner to support and scale Ant International's ER framework across APAC.
This role is critical in:
- Safeguarding organisational integrity
- Managing complex employee matters
- Strengthening compliance and governance
You will operate as a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders, navigating sensitive issues with sound judgment, strong legal grounding, and a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations Strategy & Frameworks
- Design, implement, and continuously enhance Employee Relations frameworks, including guidelines, policies, and standard operating procedures
- Ensure HR policies and practices are legally compliant and aligned with regional employment regulations
- Provide advisory support on:
- Performance management cases
- Workforce restructuring and reductions in force
- Partner with HR to deliver manager capability building on ER topics
Employment Investigations
- Lead and conduct end-to-end employment investigations into employee concerns, grievances, and misconduct
- Ensure investigations are thorough, objective and independent, and conducted in accordance with internal policies and legal requirements
- Partner closely with HR and business stakeholders to resolve cases effectively and sensitively
- Continuously refine and optimise investigation processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and quality of outcomes
Operational Excellence & Risk Management
- Develop and maintain a robust ER case management system and database
- Track and analyse ER trends to identify systemic issues and emerging risks
- Translate insights into actionable recommendations and mitigation plans to reduce legal and compliance exposure
- Design and deliver training programmes for HR Business Partners and Managers on ER best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Human Resources, or related discipline
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Employee Relations or Employment Investigations
- Strong working knowledge of Singapore and Malaysia employment law and broader APAC labour regulations
- Experience working with unions and/or works councils is highly advantageous
- Exposure to multi-country or global organisations preferred
- Demonstrates a learn-it-all mindset, with strong curiosity and humility
