Our client is a leading global financial institution with a strong and established presence across Asia Pacific. As part of its continued focus on strengthening governance, risk management, and employee experience, it is seeking to appoint a Director, Employee Relations to lead the Employee Relations agenda in Singapore.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Regional Head of Employee Relations, APAC, you will lead the ER agenda for Singapore, driving alignment with regional frameworks and embedding best-in-class practices.
As a trusted advisor, you will guide stakeholders on ER matters including grievances, disciplinary actions, and workplace issues, working closely with Legal, Compliance, and Risk to deliver balanced outcomes. You will also lead complex investigations, ensure policy governance and regulatory compliance, and uphold strong controls in ER case management.
Requirements
You are degree-qualified with at least 8 years of experience in Employee Relations or a related HR discipline, ideally gained within financial services or other regulated environments. You bring a strong understanding of Singapore employment law and proven experience managing complex and sensitive ER cases and investigations.
Credible and commercially minded, you possess strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to operate independently whilst partnering effectively across regional and global teams. You demonstrate sound judgement, resilience, and discretion in handling sensitive matters.
