Job Summary
Develop and verify electrical design drawings to meet customer specifications and standards. Collaborate with sales, engineering, and consultants to coordinate design efforts and support site modifications. Provide technical assistance and present product design solutions effectively.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed design sketches from customer drawings, engineering calculations, specification sheets, and technical data to support product development
- Verify and check design drawings for compliance with customer specifications and design requirements to ensure accuracy and quality
- Collaborate with Sales, Project, and Engineering teams to maintain coordinated design efforts and project alignment
- Review final production drawings to ensure precision and adherence to electrical standards and regulations
- Confirm Material Requisition Orders align accurately with production drawings to support manufacturing processes
- Assist M&E consultants and contractors by providing design input for site modifications, alterations, and addition works to facilitate project execution
- Present and demonstrate product design criteria and solutions to internal teams and clients to communicate technical value
- Provide timely technical assistance and develop solutions to address design and production challenges effectively
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical applications relevant to design and manufacturing
- Analytical and problem-solving skills applied to electrical design challenges
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate self-motivation
- Capability to manage tasks effectively under tight schedules
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Basic AutoCAD 2D and BIM Electrical Drafting skills
