Eldercare Programme Executive (Machpherson / 5days)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day operations within the assigned cluster, ensuring services run smoothly and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate and updated records to support reporting and follow-up actions.
• Conduct client intakes, assessments, and ensure complete and accurate data entry in the system.
• Serve as the main point of contact for eldercare beneficiaries, providing guidance and support where needed.
• Coordinate monthly distributions such as meals and grocery packs based on cluster needs.
• Plan, organise, and support events and activities that promote elder wellness and social inclusion.
• Work closely with volunteers for befriending programmes and community visits, ensuring suitable matching and engagement.
• Support volunteer management efforts, including coordination, deployment, and feedback collection.
• Participate in hotline duty rotation and handle incoming calls promptly and appropriately.
• Redirect calls to relevant departments (e.g., funeral assistance team) when necessary.

Requirements

• Diploma or higher qualification in Social Work or related disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in community engagement or eldercare services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a heart for working with seniors.
• Detail-oriented with solid organisational and data management skills.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
• Willing to support occasional evening or weekend events when required.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin to effectively liaise with Mandarin-speaking beneficiaries
