Job Description

Responsibilities

Administer Unix Linux servers by providing L2 and L3 support to maintain system stability and performance
Perform patching and upgrade activities to keep server environments secure and up to date
Install and configure new server instances and environments to support project requirements
Manage high availability clustered systems to ensure continuous service uptime
Execute backup and recovery procedures to protect data integrity and availability
Troubleshoot hardware issues and coordinate with OEM vendors to resolve faults
Apply performance tuning techniques and support cross-platform migrations to optimize system efficiency
Support change management processes and disaster recovery planning to minimize operational risks
Develop and use automation scripts to streamline server administration tasks (preferred)
Utilize data center operational knowledge to enhance infrastructure management (preferred)
Maintain familiarity with both legacy and latest technologies to support diverse environments (preferred)
