About the Role

Simports Pte. Ltd. is looking for a reliable and commercially minded Shopify E-Commerce Developer to support the development, optimisation and ongoing maintenance of our growing portfolio of e-commerce brands.

We are looking for someone who can go beyond simply designing pages. The ideal candidate should understand how a Shopify store functions as a complete e-commerce system - from storefront design and product management to checkout, apps, SEO, analytics and conversion optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, customise and maintain Shopify stores

• Modify and optimise Shopify themes, including Shopify Liquid

• Create landing pages, collection pages and product pages

• Upload and organise products, variants, collections, images and descriptions

• Configure navigation, menus, filters and search

• Install, configure and troubleshoot Shopify apps

• Configure payment, shipping and checkout-related settings

• Improve mobile responsiveness and website speed

• Troubleshoot bugs and technical issues

• Maintain and update website content

• Assist with domain, DNS and Shopify-related integrations

• Implement basic on-page SEO

• Configure Google Analytics, Meta Pixel and other tracking tools where required

• Support email marketing and CRM integrations

• Assist with marketplace or multi-vendor functionality where required

• Improve customer journey and conversion rates

• Perform regular website checks, backups and maintenance

• Work with our marketing, design and business teams to implement new campaigns and product launches

Skills We Are Looking For

Essential:

• Practical experience developing and maintaining Shopify stores

• Good knowledge of Shopify themes and Liquid

• HTML, CSS and basic JavaScript

• Strong understanding of mobile-first e-commerce design

• Experience configuring Shopify apps and integrations

• Ability to troubleshoot independently

• Attention to detail

• Good communication and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred:

• Shopify Marketplace / Multi-Vendor experience

• Shopify Markets / international e-commerce experience

• SEO knowledge

• Google Analytics / GA4

• Meta Pixel and advertising integrations

• Klaviyo or Shopify Email

• Canva, Figma or other design tools

• Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO)

• Experience with beauty, fashion, healthcare or premium consumer brands
