Driver (1-Year Contract)

This is a 1-year contract position with potential for conversion to a permanent role, subject to performance and company needs.

Job summary

You will be responsible for managing the loading and unloading of products, coordinating delivery arrangements and ensuring timely order fulfillment. Your role is vital in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, accurate deliveries, and high customer satisfaction.

Core responsibilities

- Forklift Operations: Safely load and unload products onto and from delivery vehicles using a forklift and other delivery machinery and equipment.

- Delivery Coordination: Coordinate delivery arrangements with the office and customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

- Order Fulfillment: Ensure prompt order fulfillment to customers, adhering to delivery schedules and requirements.

- Packaging and Collection: Pack and collect products with reference to purchase and delivery orders, ensuring accuracy and proper handling.

- Additional Tasks: Perform other tasks as assigned, supporting warehouse operations and contributing to team goals.

Job Specifications

Qualifications

• . Secondary School & above preferred
• Proven experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a related role.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes

1. Driving skills with good knowledge of Singapore roads

2. Strong organizational and time management skills.

3. Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with team members and customers.

4. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling products and inventory.

5. Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.

6. Forklift certification and experience operating a forklift safely.

7. Fluent in English and able to communicate with operation team members

Working Conditions

- Warehouse and customer worksites and warehouses

- Can be noisy at times (construction material supplies)

- Tools: Forklift machine, lorry, company phone

Working Hours

Monday - Friday: 9am - 530pm

Saturday: 9am - 430pm

Offer

- $2,200 - $2,800 + monthly bonuses upon achieving targets

- Benefits below to be prorated based on number of days worked in the year and available after probation

o 14 days Annual Leave, 14 days Medical Leave

o 13th month bonus & performance bonus, subjected to personal and company's performance for the year
