Director, Product

Responsibilities

• Own the product throughout its entire lifecycle, ensuring business and customer objectives are achieved.
• Lead cross-functional teams in product development, project execution, and product launch activities.
• Act as the primary technical interface for customers, supporting sales presentations, technical discussions, and industry events.
• Translate customer requirements into product specifications and ensure compliance with technical and commercial expectations.
• Partner with R&D, System Architects, and Engineering teams to develop innovative automation and thermal control solutions.
• Drive product roadmap, project planning, cost management, and design optimization initiatives.
• Prepare and deliver product presentations, proposals, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with NPI, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure successful product industrialization and launch.
• Define product acceptance criteria and oversee customer qualification and acceptance processes.
• Support field service teams in resolving customer and equipment-related issues.
• Lead continuous product improvement initiatives to enhance performance, reliability, quality, and cost competitiveness.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, service providers, and key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Robotics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience in semiconductor equipment development, product management, or system engineering.
• Strong knowledge of automation systems, thermal control technologies, and semiconductor equipment design.
• Proven experience managing product costs, business cases, and design-to-cost initiatives.
• Strong project management and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
• Excellent customer-facing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead engineering and project teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing complex capital equipment products from development through commercialization is highly preferred.
