Overview

We are looking for a motivated Desktop Support Engineer with at least 1 year of hands-on experience to provide technical support to end users, maintain IT systems, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, good communication abilities, and a solid understanding of desktop hardware, software, and networking basics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1/Level 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows/Mac operating systems and common business software.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to network connectivity, VPN, Wi-Fi, and basic LAN problems.
  • Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and computers in Active Directory/Microsoft 365.
  • Perform routine system updates, patches, and antivirus checks.
  • Assist with new device setup, imaging, and hardware replacement.
  • Maintain IT inventory of devices, accessories, and software licenses.
  • Document all support activities, incidents, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Provide on-site and remote support to employees as needed.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or relevant teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in desktop support, technical support, or IT helpdesk roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office/O365, and common desktop applications.
  • Basic understanding of network concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
  • Experience with ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow, Freshservice, etc.).
  • Familiarity with printers, mobile devices, and hardware repairs.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with users at all technical levels.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
