DORS at Design Orchard is a premier multi-label designer store, proudly managed by the Singapore Fashion Council and situated in the heart of Orchard Road. Home to over 80 of Singapore's most distinguished local designers and brands, DORS serves as a beacon of homegrown talent and creativity. Dedicated to empowering local entrepreneurs, the store curates an immersive retail experience that celebrates exceptional craftsmanship while fostering a sense of community and engagement. Embodying both innovation and style, DORS invites locals and tourists alike to experience the dynamic pulse of Singapore's fashion landscape.

DORS, located at level one of Design Orchard and situated in the centre of Orchard Road, provides a physical retail space for new and emerging designers, at the renowned shopping belt of Singapore. It has the largest collection of locally-based designer brands in Singapore.

Role Overview:

As a Design Executive at DORS, you'll play a key role in bringing our brand and campaigns to life across both physical and digital touchpoints. Working closely with the Creative Lead and cross-functional teams, you will develop and execute visually compelling assets that drive engagement, support sales, and elevate the in-store and online experience.

This role is ideal for a designer with a strong foundation who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is looking to grow their creative and commercial impact.

Key Responsibilities

Design Execution & Campaign Support

  • Support the creation and adaptation of campaign visuals for both digital and in-store use
  • Assist in developing layouts, resizing assets, and preparing files for different formats
  • Work with Creative Lead to translate creative concepts into final deliverables
  • Ensure consistency with brand guidelines across all outputs

In-Store & Physical Collaterals

  • Assist in designing in-store graphics such as signages, promotional displays, and wayfinding materials
  • Support VM team with artwork for displays and campaign rollouts
  • Update communication points across the shopfloor to ensure accuracy and relevance

Digital & E-commerce Assets

  • Create and adapt assets for e-commerce platforms
  • Support content creation for EDMs and digital platforms
  • Assist in resizing and formatting assets for LED screens and digital displays

Content & Marketing Support

  • Assist in the creation of Key Visuals (KVs) for campaigns
  • Support simple photography or videography needs
  • Design social media assets and digital ads
  • Work with Marketing to produce content for different platforms

Brand & Promotional Materials

  • Assist in producing promotional collaterals across print and digital formats
  • Ensure all materials are aligned with brand guidelines and campaign messaging
  • Support in reviewing visuals for consistency and quality

Events & Activations

  • Design collaterals for events (e.g. invites, social posts, signage)
  • Support setup of visual materials for in-store activations

OOH Media & Content

  • Assist in preparing and formatting content for LED and in-store screens
  • Support uploading and updating content based on campaign timelines

Merchandise & Packaging Support

  • Assist in designing basic graphics for merchandise (stickers, labels, tags)
  • Support packaging artwork and ensure they are production-ready

Frontline Materials & Supplies

  • Design and adapt retail materials such as vouchers, gift tags, and packaging elements
  • Ensure clarity and usability of customer-facing materials
  • Support updates and reprints when required

Vendor Coordination & Admin Support

  • Assist in preparing artwork files for print and production
  • Support communication with vendors on basic requirements and timelines
  • Help track deliverables and ensure timely submission of files
  • Support administrative tasks such as organising files, basic documentation, and artwork versioning

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Media or related field
  • We are open to consider fresh graduates for this role with significant and aligned internship experiences.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; Motion Graphics and Video Editing tools is a plus)
  • Strong eye for layout, typography, and visual consistency
  • Willingness to learn and work collaboratively
  • Good time management and ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of print and digital formats

Bonus (Good to Have)

  • Photography / videography experience
  • Experience with Product Design, 3D Design or Spatial Design
  • Exposure & interest in Fashion retail or lifestyle brand environments
