Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Operations: Monitor servers, networks, power, HVAC, and security systems. Respond to alerts, escalate as needed, and maintain SLA compliance.
- Hardware Management: Conduct physical inspections, audits, and support equipment installation, relocation, and decommissioning.
- Incident Response: Perform first-level troubleshooting, log and escalate incidents, and coordinate with engineering and vendor teams for resolution.
- Maintenance & Housekeeping: Execute preventive maintenance, system reboots, and backups ensure a clean, safe, and controlled environment.
- Access & Security: Enforce access control policies, verify identities, escort visitors/vendors, and maintain accurate access logs.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain asset inventories, update incident and change logs, and prepare operational/compliance reports.
Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or equivalent in a technical field.
- Experience: 1-3 years in Data Centre Operations.
- Skills: Strong operational discipline, basic infrastructure knowledge (servers, networks, HVAC, power), and attention to detail.
- Soft Skills: Effective communication, teamwork, and ability to work rotational shifts.
