Responsibilities
- Support the deployment and maintenance of on-site data centre hardware and cabling infrastructure
- Perform installation, replacement, and troubleshooting of physical IT components (servers, hard drives, cables, etc.)
- Manage inventory and asset tracking, including receiving/shipping and equipment movement using lifting tools
- Work within a ticketing system to manage and resolve IT support tasks efficiently
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience handling technical equipment within a data centre environment
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and network components
- Physical ability to perform hands-on tasks, including lifting and working at heights
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+, or Basic Structured Cabling (BSC) are highly advantageous
