Job Description

Job Purpose:

Our Corporate Affairs ambition is to grow the business, promote the company, our brands, and products, and improve the business climate. The CorporateAffairs Director is expected to deliver this ambition by:

1.Proactively seeking opportunities to improve the fiscal and regulatory environment and protect our license to operate as well as commercial freedom.

2.Ensuring the delivery of our Brew A Better World (BaBW) targets.

3.Building the desired positive reputation for Asia Pacific Breweries (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. a wholly owned subsidiary of HEINEKEN N.V with media, government, NGOs, communities, and other key stakeholders.

4.Further improving employee communication & collaboration to drive cohesiveness, engagement, best business practices, and employee satisfaction & well-being.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

1. Proactively assesses and maps key risks and opportunities related to market, excise/ fiscal, and regulatory environment that will affect business climate, short and long-term business goals engage senior internal stakeholders on external developments that impact the business to ensure understanding, awareness, and impact on commercial priorities to ensure informed business decisions making.

2. Maps key stakeholders and strategically engages them with clear/measurable engagement objectives.

3. Defines a clear, desired reputation for Asia Pacific Breweries (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. a wholly owned subsidiary of HEINEKEN N.V. and builds an integrated communication plan (corporate, brand, internal/employee) with trackable progress/ performance:

a) Crisis Mitigation & Management: ensuring readiness to deal with crisis situations leading communications and advising the management team during crisis

b) Employee Communications & EVP: Work closely with MD and People to build internal communications/engagement plan and Employer Value Proposition (EVP) strategies and content supporting change management initiatives.

c) External Communications: develop and socialise the message house, managing all external communications (messaging and channels)

d) Brand PR: Supporting the brand team to develop and execute Brand PR strategiesto optimise brand strategy/brand campaign through earned media.

5.Leads the development of the BABW strategy and governancecoordinates sustainability policies and initiatives to deliver on our BaBW agenda.

6. Builds a high-performing Corporate Affairs team, future-fit, with the capability to deliver the CA plan in support of the business strategy.

7.Ensures the optimal development and execution of all CorporateAffairs processes by introducing common management tools, monitoring and benchmark methodologies, and best practices fromother OpCos / companies / industries.
