We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Vice President of Corporate Affairs to lead our global corporate affairs function, build trusted relationships with key stakeholders, and position Coda as a responsible, innovative, and customer-first company.

Key Responsibilities

Communications

  • Drive Coda's corporate narrative through media engagement, executive communications, and thought leadership.
  • Ensure a unified narrative across external and internal channels, including thought leadership content, the Coda Capsule, Coda Connect events (in partnership with B2B marketing), and the Weekly Wrap.
  • Lead press releases and media outreach for major company moments, such as product and store launches, publisher activations, and other high-visibility initiatives.

Government Relations

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with governments, regulators, and policy influencers worldwide.
  • Monitor and advise on policy developments that impact Coda's operations and business continuity.
  • Define and represent Coda's policy positions in alignment with business objectives.
  • Ensure all government engagements or communications are coordinated with the Government Affairs team.

Investor Relations

  • Represent Coda with excellence to investors and the board.
  • Lead investor messaging and ensure Coda's story is communicated clearly and confidently.
  • Oversee the preparation of board meeting materials and other investor-facing communications.

Issues & Crisis Management

  • Act as the front line of Coda's reputation, establishing clear protocols for handling sensitive issues.
  • Lead crisis response efforts with timely and precise communications to protect Coda's reputation and license to operate.
  • Advise executives and partner cross-functionally to navigate high-risk scenarios effectively.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Build and lead a high-performing Corporate Affairs team across multiple regions.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, Product, and Commercial teams to ensure a coordinated approach to stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in public policy, law, business, or communications preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate affairs, communications, public policy, or investor relations, ideally in payments, fintech, or technology sectors.
  • Strong track record of engaging with regulators, policymakers, investors, and media across APAC and globally.
  • Proven experience managing corporate communications, thought leadership, and investor messaging.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills experienced spokesperson and advisor to senior executives.
  • Ability to manage complex, cross-border issues and crises in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated success building and leading global, cross-functional teams.
