[Confidential Information]to lead strategic tendering initiatives and oversee full-spectrum contract management across major construction projects. This role is critical in driving competitive bid success, managing contractual risk, and supporting overall project profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the full tender lifecycle, from pre-tender planning through submission, evaluation, and post-tender negotiations
- Review tender specifications, contracts, and commercial documentation to identify key risks, obligations, and value opportunities
- Collaborate closely with project, design, procurement, and commercial teams to develop accurate pricing strategies and competitive tender submissions
- Drive negotiations with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure commercially advantageous terms
- Ensure all tendering and contractual activities comply with regulatory standards, legal frameworks, and internal governance policies
- Advise senior leadership on tender strategy, commercial positioning, contract exposure, and cost optimization initiatives
- Monitor market trends, pricing benchmarks, and competitor movements to strengthen bid competitiveness
- Support dispute avoidance through proactive contract administration and strategic risk management
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in tendering, quantity surveying, or contract management within the construction sector
- Strong expertise in construction contracts including PSSCOC, FIDIC, and related legal frameworks
- Demonstrated success in managing and securing high-value construction tenders
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage cross-functional coordination effectively
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly capable in contract risk assessment
