Ingrid Design is looking for a creative and strategic Content Strategist to join our team.
This role is suited for someone with 2 to 3 years of experience in a social media, digital, or creative agency, with a strong ability to plan, write, and shape content across different brands and industries. The ideal candidate should be confident in storytelling, content ideation, and spotting relevant trends that can be translated into meaningful and engaging content.
You will be responsible for developing content for both client accounts and Ingrid Design's own marketing channels, working closely with the creative and account servicing teams to bring ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities
Develop content strategies and monthly content calendars for client accounts and in-house brands
Research industries, audience behaviour, competitors, and trends to generate relevant and engaging content ideas
Write compelling, clear, and on-brand copy for social media posts, captions, campaigns, articles, and other digital content
Craft strong storytelling angles and content directions tailored to different brands and target audiences
Translate technical, corporate, or dry information into relatable and audience-friendly content
Stay updated on social media trends, trending topics, current conversations, and digital culture
Work closely with designers, account managers, and the wider creative team to ensure content is strategically aligned and visually engaging
Present content ideas, creative rationale, and recommendations internally or to clients when required
Review and refine content to ensure consistency, clarity, accuracy, and brand alignment
Contribute to campaign brainstorming, proposals, and pitch ideation when needed
Ensure all content is delivered according to timeline and campaign objectives
Monitor content performance and apply insights to improve future content planning
Job Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Mass Communication, Journalism, English, or related field
Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience in a social media agency, digital agency, or creative agency
Strong command of written English with excellent copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills
Strong storytelling ability with a good sense of content flow, tone, and audience engagement
Good understanding of social media platforms, digital content formats, and audience preferences
Able to identify trends and develop content angles that are timely, relevant, and engaging
Able to manage multiple brands and projects in a fast-paced environment
Organised, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
