RESPONSIBILITY
Responsible for defining and creating content strategies aligned with business objectives and user needs, optimising for search engines and social media.
1. Content Strategy
- Define and detail a strategy for how the content helps a product or service to deliver on its value proposition.
- Create sensible processes for structuring and refreshing content.
2. Content Creation and Optimisation:
- Translate complex information into clear and concise language.
- Develop compelling copy, including headlines, taglines, and body text.
- Maintain consistent tone and style across products.
- Apply SEO best practices to content creation.
3. User Research and Analysis + Content Creation and Optimisation using analytics
- Conduct user research to understand needs, preferences, and behaviours.
- Utilise various research methods, including interviews, surveys, and analytics.
4. Information Architecture:
- Design and organise content for easy navigation and findability
- Validate information architecture using methods like card sorting and tree testing.
5. Usability and Accessibility:
- Create content that is accessible and inclusive.
- Design and conduct usability tests to evaluate content effectiveness.
6. Content and Project Management Capabitilies:
- Audit, track, and map content to information architecture.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy across all content.
7. Design Pattern Application:
- Utilise industry best practices and emerging technologies for content organisation and presentation.
8. Brand Alignment:
- Develop content consistent with the companys brand image.
- Address both business goals and consumer needs in content creation.
9. Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on the latest developments in SEO, content trends, and consumer behaviour.
- Identify areas for improvement based on usability testing and performance metrics.
10. Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work with marketing managers, UI/UX Researcher, Service Designer and other stakeholders to ensure content aligns with overall product strategy. Ability to independently drive internal and external stakeholder engagement sessions and build consensus
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NEEDED
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Content Strategist, UX Writer, Communications Designer or a similar related design role.
- Diploma, Bachelors or Advanced degree in marketing, communications, advertising, journalism, product design, UX, or related field.
- Comfortable working with GOVTECH or similar Product, Tech, Data, and Business partners to deliver services and experiences.
- Skilled in copywriting, content creation, and copy editing, including writing indifferent voices and styles for various target audiences.
- Strong content presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of product design processes and emerging technologies.
- Demonstrates systems thinking, teamwork, leadership, planning, and successfully implemented projects in a dynamic and agile environment.
- Strong ability to identify key research objectives in partnership with product, design, brand, and engineering teams to address research needs for various brands and projects throughout the product life cycle.
- Strong knowledge of various research methods and the experience to select the right research to do at the right time and synthesise insights into coherent, digestible deliverables that visually reflect those results, including service design blueprints, journey maps, and process flows.
- Proven track record that demonstrates systems thinking, teamwork, leadership, and project management.
- Familiarity with design and prototyping tools, such as: Figma, and/or Adobe Creative Suite
- Self-directed, organised, efficient a deep and insightful thinker who likes the challenge of a complex problem, and is an effective communicator, presenter, and negotiator.

- Comprehensive Website Content Strategy based on research findings
- Minimum 20 detailed user journey maps covering key user scenarios
- One (1) new Information Architecture structure
- One (1) complete sitemap reflecting new structure
- One (1) comprehensive content inventory list
- One (1) content structure for the implementation of VICA chatbot for the new website.
Success Criteria
- Successful completion of all 20 engagement sessions with quality insights
- Delivery of comprehensive, actionable research findings
- Creation of user-centered information architecture that improves NACs website usability
- Stakeholder satisfaction with research process and outcomes
- Clear, implementable recommendations for website enhancement and also able to enhance the features with chatbot functionalities (esp. VICA for Audience Development).
