CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR

Job Scope

. Supervise and coordinate day-to-day construction site activities to ensure smooth project execution.

. Monitor site progress to ensure work is completed on schedule and in accordance with project plans and specifications.

. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality of workmanship and compliance with approved drawings and standards.

. Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety policies.

. Identify unsafe practices and take corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment.

. Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors, workers, suppliers, and relevant stakeholders on site matters.

. Ensure proper deployment and utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment on site.

. Resolve site issues, technical problems, and unexpected challenges in a timely manner.

. Assist in implementing quality control measures and ensure construction works meet required standards.

. Maintain daily site records including site reports, progress updates, manpower attendance, andmaterial usage.

. Report project progress, delays, and issues to the Project Manager.

. Attend site meetings and provide updates on site activities when required.

. Carry out any other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

. Minimum 15 years of relevant site supervision experience in the construction industry.

. Possession of relevant safety certifications (e.g., WSQ Supervisors Safety Course) is an advantage.

. Good knowledge of construction processes, site operations, and safety regulations.

. Familiar with local building codes and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.

. Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to manage site workers and subcontractors.

. Good communication and coordination skills.

. Able to read and interpret construction drawings.

. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle site issues independently.

. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

. Willing to work a 6-day work week and attend to site matters after working hours when necessary.
