Lead and manage day to day site construction activities to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective project delivery
Oversee construction planning, execution and coordination of civil works, including earthworks, ground improvement, reclamation, tunneling, foundation, or related infrastructure activities
Monitor project schedule, progress, quality, safety performance, and take corrective action when required
Coordinate with headquarters, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives to ensure smooth project execution
Review construction methods, technical submissions, and site implementation plans to ensure compliance with project requirements
Manage site risks related to safety, quality, logistics, heavy lifting, night-time work, traffic interface, or complex operating conditions
Support resolution of technical and operational issues arising during construction
Ensure compliance with internal HSE standards, project specifications, and applicable local regulations
Prepare and present progress reports, technical updates, and management reports
Lead site teams and promote a strong culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance
Liaise directly and regularly in Korean with our Korean headquarters to update process of project
Act as a key liaison for Korean-speaking executives, staff, and partners
Coordinating with HQ team (South Korea)
The candidate should understand the construction Industry System and be able to discuss it with HQ from Korea and Branch office
Job Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering
At least 15 years of relevant experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects
Proven experience as Construction Manager or Deputy Construction Manager in large-scale projects
Fluent in written and spoken English and Korean as need to liaise with Korean headquarters
Strong experience in one or more of the following: - The candidate should understand the construction Industry System and be able to discuss it with HQ from Korea and Branch office - Tunneling / underground works - Reclamation / marine works - Ground improvement - Earthworks / site preparation - Heavy civil construction - Experience in managing project schedule, quality control, safety compliance, and subcontractor coordination - Ability to coordinate effectively with head office, regulatory authorities, consultants, and site teams - Strong technical judgment, problem-solving, and reporting skills - Experience in overseas projects or multinational project environments is an advantage - Construction management - Civil and infrastructure project execution - Site coordination and supervision - Schedule and progress control - Quality and safety management - Technical reporting and documentation - Stakeholder and subcontractor management - Risk management and problem-solving - Leadership and team coordination
