Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Liaise with clients and brokers to identify new project opportunities.
  • Tender Analysis: Review tender specifications and enquiries. Prepare cost breakdowns according to standard structures.
  • Vendor Sourcing: Issue RFPs/RFQs and manage technical and commercial clarifications with suppliers.
  • Bid Evaluation: Analyze vendor quotes for technical compliance and pricing competitiveness.
  • Cost Estimation: Collate forex, material, and labor data to build comprehensive project estimates.
  • Reporting & Submission: Prepare and finalize detailed cost sheets for approval. Ensure timely submission of all financial documents.
  • Risk Management: Identify critical items and perform basic project risk assessments.
  • Internal Coordination: Collate tender inputs from internal departments. Ensure quality, compliance, and on-time delivery of submissions.
  • Financial Planning: Assist with tender reviews and the development of cash flow projections.
  • Negotiation Support: Provide assistance during contract discussions and commercial negotiations.
  • Procurement: Support the contracting and acquisition of project equipment.
  • Contract Monitoring: Track equipment delivery timelines. Manage milestone payouts and vendor schedules.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain strategic partnerships with clients, brokers, and suppliers.
  • Logistics Coordination: Work with stakeholders to ensure seamless equipment delivery.
  • Project Control: Manage budgets, milestone invoicing, and guarantees for awarded projects. Monitor cost shifting and financial health.
  • Post-Project Analysis: Collect post-mortem data to improve future project performance

Requirements

  • Diploma in business or engineering field
  • more than 3 years of working experience in marine sector
  • Familiar with technical knowledge or Marine Equipment and Material
  • Understand Legal, Insurance, Drawings, etc.
  • Able to travel overseas
