Cloud Engineer

Role Summary

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer with strong hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on reliability, security, performance, and cost optimization while working closely with DevOps and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Lead the implementation and maintenance of cloud services including compute, storage, networking, and databases

• Architect and manage monitoring, logging, backup, and disaster recovery solutions

• Ensure cloud security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance standards are followed

• Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and application deployments

• Identify and implement cloud cost optimization and performance improvement strategies

• Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and provide root cause analysis

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to cloud architecture decisions and best practices

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role

• Strong expertise in at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking concepts, and cloud security

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation

• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• Proficiency in scripting using Python, Bash, or similar languages

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
