Clinic Manager

We are looking for a clinic manager to provide proactive leadership to a young team of optometrists and clinic assistants. He/she will oversee daily operations and ensure that clinics run efficiently, and incompliance with healthcare regulations. He/she must have strong communication and leadership skills in order to manage staff and also ensure high quality healthcare delivery.

Job Scope:

Leadership role and clinic management:

1. Oversee management of clinical & operational activities and clinic-related events.

2. Review and develop clinic work processes and policies.

3. Oversee administrative matters e.g. insurance & medisave, medishield claims, insurance reports, surgical listing, etc.

4. Maintain records, reports and statistics for accounting and administrative purposes.

5. Manage patient-relations issues.

Staff management and resource utilization

1. Manage staff consisting of optometrists, technicians, clinic assistants and interns.

2. Oversee hiring, deployment and appraisal of staff.

3. Train staff for their assigned roles including expansion of roles for cross-coverage.

4. Step down to fill gaps in service in the day to day running of clinics.
