Job Summary
Provide frontline and administrative support in a GP clinic by registering patients, scheduling appointments, managing billing and insurance claims, dispensing medicines, and maintaining clinic cleanliness while building positive relationships with patients and corporate clients.
Responsibilities
- Register patients accurately to ensure smooth clinic operations and patient flow
- Schedule and book patient appointments to optimize clinic scheduling efficiency
- Follow up with patients on treatment plans and vaccination schedules to support health outcomes
- Process billing transactions and payments to maintain accurate financial records
- Submit insurance claims and ensure proper documentation and filing for compliance and audit readiness
- Prepare and dispense medicines according to prescriptions to support patient care
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the clinic facilities to provide a safe environment for patients and staff
- Build and maintain good rapport with patients and corporate clients by responding to their needs and inquiries
Required competencies and certifications
- Experience using clinic management software such as SGiMED to manage patient records and appointments
- Knowledge of Ministry of Health (MOH) regulatory requirements to ensure clinic compliance
- Ability to communicate clearly and interact professionally with patients and colleagues
- Commitment to work a minimum of 4 hours daily from Monday to Saturday mornings (8:30am-1pm)
- Flexibility to work at least two Sundays per month (9am-12pm) and evening shifts (6pm-9pm)
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum GCE O level, NITEC in any discipline, or relevant healthcare certification
- 2 to 5 years of experience working in a GP clinic environment
