Civil Engineer (Infrastructure)

Role Overview

A Civil Engineer with strong design experience in civil and infrastructure design project (road, drain,

sewer, slope, retaining wall, etc) to support projects in Singapore. The candidate must be familiar with

Authority COPs, design requirement, and able to deliver design, coordination, and basic drafting works

independently.

Key Responsibilities

➢ Carry out road design in accordance with LTA Civil Design Criteria, Relevant Code of Practice,

Standard Details of Road Element (SDRE), and relevant guidelines

➢ Perform drainage design in compliance with PUB requirements and COP

➢ Prepare design calculations, drawings, and technical submissions (HDB, LTA, PUB, BCA,

NPARKS)

➢ Develop plan/profile drawings, cross sections, and details for road and drainage works

➢ Coordinate with authorities, consultants, and internal teams for submissions and approvals

➢ Support tender preparation, construction drawings, and site coordination

➢ Review and check drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance

➢ Assist in resolving design issues during construction stage

Requirements

➢ Degree in Civil Engineering (recognized by PE Board Singapore preferred)

➢ 2–6 years of relevant experience in infrastructure projects (Singapore experience preferred)

➢ Familiar with: LTA CDC, COPs and SDRE for Road Design, PUB Design Guidelines / COP,

NPARKS COP

➢ Proficient in: AutoCAD, Civil 3D (preferred)

➢ Able to perform basic drafting work independently (not purely design-only role)

➢ Good understanding of submission process to Authorities (LTA, PUB, BCA, URA, NPARKS, etc.)

➢ Strong coordination and communication skills

Preferred / Advantage

➢ Experience in LTA / HDB / JTC projects

➢ Familiar with road geometry design, junction design, and hydraulic design for drainage and sewer

➢ Exposure to site works / construction support

➢ Knowledge of Excel-based design calculations
