Key Responsibilities (Methodology Focus)
- Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project
- Prepare baseline schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and critical path analysis
- Track project progress and identify delays, risks, and potential impacts
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure schedule alignment
- Integrate fabrication, delivery, and installation timelines for structural steel works
- Conduct regular schedule reviews and provide mitigation strategies for delays
- Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and schedule updates for stakeholders
- Support planning of manpower, resources, and equipment allocation
- Preparation of MSRA for tender and site works
Technical Skills & Software
- Proficient in AutoCAD (3D drafting)
- Experience with BIM tools (e.g., Tekla Structures)
- Knowledge of BIM module coordination and clash detection
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project
- Familiar with construction sequencing and steel erection workflow
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project scheduling or planning
- Experience in structural steel projects or main contractor environment preferred
- Strong understanding of construction processes, especially steel fabrication and installation
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage deadlines
- Strong communication and reporting skills
