Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and assessments of civil infrastructure to identify potential issues or maintenance needs.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules, plans, and procedures to ensure the longevity and safety of structures and facilities.
• Oversee routine maintenance, repairs, renovations, and improvements of civil structures.
• Coordinate with clients, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and internal teams for project execution.
• Prepare tender documents, B.Q. calculations, monthly progress claims, VO claims, and as-built drawings.
• Review design, construction, and as-built drawings to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Arrange and maintain filing systems in compliance with ISO standards and prepare for audits.
• Monitor project progress, manage resources (manpower, materials, equipment), and ensure projects are completed within budget and schedule.
• Prepare technical documents including work schedules, method statements, risk assessments, and safe work procedures.
• Attend project meetings, including kick-off, progress, technical, safety, and subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all civil engineering and maintenance activities for reporting and future reference.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement corrective actions for technical or operational issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of working experience in the oil & gas industry (preferably in Singapore).
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, building codes, ISO standards, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in preparing technical documents, tender submissions, and project reports.
• Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work in Jurong Island.
