Civil Engineer (Construction)

We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Engineer to join our construction project team for specialized international infrastructure developments. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing complex civil engineering projects that integrate advanced overseas construction methodologies, foreign compliance standards, and cutting-edge technologies.

This role will require close coordination with multinational stakeholders, adherence to non-local regulatory frameworks, and proven expertise in foreign project execution. Candidates must demonstrate substantial hands-on experience in major overseas infrastructure projects and possess familiarity with material specifications, codes, and techniques unique to specific foreign regions.

Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of large-scale construction projects using international engineering methodologies.
- Interpret and apply foreign building codes, regulations, and environmental requirements into local project workflows.
- Collaborate with overseas suppliers, contractors, and engineering teams to ensure project alignment with global best practices.
- Prepare and validate complex engineering documentation, calculations, and structural analyses according to foreign compliance standards.
- Oversee specialized equipment usage and imported technology integration on-site.
- Conduct feasibility studies for projects involving materials and technologies unavailable locally.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and quality assurance for projects funded or specified by overseas stakeholders.

Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of direct experience in executing civil engineering projects in foreign jurisdictions.
- Proven track record in projects involving imported construction technologies or specialized overseas materials.
- Demonstrated knowledge of rare engineering techniques used in specific foreign regions (e.g., advanced deep foundation systems used in earthquake-prone zones abroad).
- Ability to communicate fluently in at least one foreign language relevant to the target jurisdiction to liaise with overseas partners.
- Strong understanding of international procurement processes and logistics for engineering materials.
- Willingness to travel abroad frequently for project meetings and inspections.

Additional Information

- Work location will be primarily in Singapore with regular assignments abroad.
