This role can be based anywhere in Southeast Asia but frequent travel to Vietnam would be essential.
The ideal candidate is working or will have worked at an MBB firm or a top tier strategy consulting firm at an Associate or Engagement Manager (or equivalent) level. They would have worked on projects for Product-led companies or have moved to a Product-centric company and are looking for their next challenge. Experience working with a Fintech company or on Fintech related projects would be highly desirable.
Job Purpose
The Chief of Staff will act as a trusted advisor to the CEO/CPO/CTO, ensuring smooth execution of strategic objectives, managing key communications, and driving organizational alignment. This role involves leading initiatives, overseeing cross-functional projects, undertaking strategic planning, and ensuring effective internal and external engagement. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, strategic, and capable of driving performance across multiple departments. This is an excellent role for a strategist who would like to get exciting exposure to a combination of hands-on implementation, and strategic thinking and real-world execution in a fast-paced technology company.

While experience in areas like commercial strategy, customer needs, and performance monitoring is valuable, our client is seeking someone with experience in more natively tech/digitally progressive organizations, where the culture is product/engineering-led. The ideal candidate will be comfortable speaking the language of scrum/agile, technical dependencies, tooling, and platforms. They should have experience working on organizational initiatives within a tech, product, and engineering environment (e.g., improving the efficiency of a large engineering team working on a single product), while also possessing the strong commercial and product strategy acumen expected of a typical consultant.
