About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief of Staff to support the leadership team of one of our portfolio companies under a China public listed group. This individual will play a critical role in overseeing day-to-day operations across multiple functions, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and driving organizational efficiency. The Chief of Staff will also act as a key liaison with external stakeholders, providing guidance on policies, compliance, and business operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate operations across HR, Finance, Legal, IT, Administration departments.
- Partner with senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives and ensure operational excellence.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external parties, including legal firms, lawyers, tax consultants, Sales, and Pre-Sales and other advisory partners.
- Provide oversight of employee benefits programs and policies, ensuring compliance and alignment with best practices.
- Act as a policy maker, developing, reviewing, and implementing company policies to support business growth and compliance, while collaborating with external agencies to design, enhance, and implement internal systems.
- Lead and support system migration and implementation projects, ensuring smooth transitions, minimal disruptions, and effective adoption across business functions.
- Provide operational advice and insights to senior management, enabling effective decision-making.
- Monitor key business functions to ensure efficiency, risk management, and adherence to governance standards.
- Support cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve business processes and enhance organizational capabilities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Law, or related discipline (advanced qualifications are an advantage).
- Proven experience in a Chief of Staff, Operations Director, or senior management role with exposure to multiple business functions.
- Preferably with professional background in a Software/IT consultancy firm, bringing a strong understanding of technology-driven business environments.
- Hands-on experience working with external stakeholders such as legal counsel, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
- Strong background in policy-making, corporate governance, and organizational strategy.
- Practical experience in system migration and/or implementation projects, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption across business functions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels.
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
