Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize chemical or industrial processes
- Monitor and improve plant operations for efficiency, safety, and quality
- Conduct process simulations, analysis, and troubleshooting
- Support scale-up from lab/pilot to full production
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
Requirements
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field
- Experience in manufacturing, process, or plant operations (entry to mid-level acceptable depending on role scope)
- Strong understanding of process control, safety systems, and industrial operations
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams in a plant/industrial environment
- Based in Singapore or eligible to work in Singapore
- Comfortable with hybrid arrangement (office/plant as required)
Nice to Have
- Experience in petrochemical, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or specialty chemicals industries
- Familiarity with process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, AutoCAD, MATLAB)
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
- Understanding of EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards
