About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Business Development Manager to own and drive our growth within the global theme park, attractions, and tourism & hospitality sectors. You will be responsible for the entire business development lifecyclefrom pipeline generation to deal closure and account expansionspecifically focused on promoting our innovative imaging technology and on-site operational solutions.
This role requires a blend of industry insight, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution. You will not only identify and secure new opportunities but also shape our market approach, foster key partnerships, and mentor colleagues. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who excels in dynamic environments, builds relationships at the senior level, and translates a deep understanding of guest experience and operational challenges into actionable, winning growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities
1.Business Development Strategy & Pipeline Leadership
- Develop and execute a proactive business development strategy to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Own the lead generation process, identifying high-value prospects through targeted networking, industry events, digital channels, and strategic research.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities, trends, and competitive positioning.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools, forecasting accurately for leadership.
- Represent the company as a senior figure at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
2.Proposal Strategy & Deal Ownership
- Lead the end-to-end development of high-impact, visually compelling proposals, pitch decks, and RFP responses that win business.
- Develop persuasive value propositions and pricing strategies in collaboration with finance and delivery teams.
- Ensure all client-facing materials are strategically aligned, brand-consistent, and of the highest quality.
- Directly present and pitch to clients and senior stakeholders, managing the negotiation process through to contract closure.
3.Cross-Functional Leadership & Process Optimization
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams (Design, Tech, Operations, Marketing) throughout the bid process, ensuring alignment on strategy, timelines, and deliverables.
- Establish and refine business development processes, templates, and best practices to improve win rates and efficiency.
- Act as the primary bridge between client needs and internal delivery capabilities, ensuring clear communication of requirements and expectations.
4.Client Relationship Management & Account Growth
- Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with key clients, ensuring high satisfaction and identifying opportunities for account growth and renewal.
- Develop account plans for key clients to expand business and foster long-term partnerships.
- Analyze client feedback and market responses to inform service development and strategic adjustments.
- Mentor and guide junior business development or support staff, fostering team growth.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B business development, strategic sales, or key account management, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Required Industry Focus: Minimum 3+ years of direct experience selling technology, operational solutions, or premium services into the theme park, attractions, leisure, or tourism/hospitality sector. A strong existing network within this industry is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience inleading the full sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiation and closing.
- Exceptional visual and verbal communication skills; expert proficiency in crafting professional presentations (PowerPoint, Keynote, Canva).
- Outstanding command of English and Mandarin (both written and spoken); proficiency in a third language (e.g. Japanese) is advantageous.
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and problem-solving abilities.
- Natural leader with outstanding interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with C-level executives and influencing internal stakeholders.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple complex projects under pressure.
- Proactive, independent, and driven, with a commitment to mentoring and team success.
- Willingness and ability to travel for overseas client meetings and global industry events.
