BPN (Better Payment Network), backed by BNB Chain and YZi Labs, is a PayFi (Payment Finance) infrastructure built on top of Binance Chain (L1), that seeks to disrupt traditional cross border payment systems by allowing local stablecoin issuers to build their liquidity pools while providing near real time and ultra-low cost payments and remittance solutions.
Role Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Business Development Manager to lead partnership expansion across top-tier cross-border PSPs and acquirers. The ideal candidate has deep roots in the payment ecosystem, proven success selling cross-border payment solutions and comes with an established network across Global PSP landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Drive Strategic Partnerships:
- Lead end-to-end BD cycles with leading cross-border PSPs, acquirers, and fintech aggregators — from first contact to contract execution and integration.
2) Market Expansion:
- Identify, engage, and onboard key partners to expand our PayFi network coverage across APAC.
3) Relationship Ownership:
- Maintain strong, trust-based relationships with C-suite and decision-makers within PSPs, payment gateways, and institutional partners.
4) Solution Sales:
- Promote stablecoin settlement and on-chain liquidity products as next-generation cross-border payment infrastructure.
5) Ecosystem Collaboration:
- Work with internal teams (product, legal, compliance, and tech) to ensure product alignment, licensing adherence, and partner success.
Skills and Experience required
- 5 - 10+ years of experience in payments, cross-border settlements, or fintech partnerships.
- Proven track record in BD or partnerships roles at global payment networks.
- Extensive PSP network — well-connected with decision-makers within the PSP industry
- Demonstrated success in selling B2B payment infrastructure or acquiring solutions to PSPs or financial institutions.
- Strong strategic negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken to communicate with Chinese and English speaking stakeholders.
- Highly driven, decisive, and willing to spend significant time engaging partners and building business momentum.
