Business Development Sr./Manager Manager (Technology) Healthcare, Pharma & Life Sciences
Location: Singapore (role scope covers ASEAN)
We are hiring a Business Development professional to lead and grow client relationships in the Healthcare, Pharma, and Life Sciences sector for a global IT services MNC. This is a senior client-facing role with responsibility for P&L management, business growth, and delivery oversight across ASEAN.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Growth & Account Management: As a BDM, you are expected to identify, evaluate and win business opportunities in the Technology Sales within Healthcare, Pharma & Life Sciencesclients within ASEAN countries - focus being Singapore.
- Develop account strategies, drive revenue growth, and ensure long-term client partnerships.
- Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, understand business challenges, and design technology-led solutions that support transformation and growth.
- Strategic Advisory: Identify and drive initiatives that help clients achieve their business goals, ensuring risks are proactively identified and mitigated.
Skills & Experience Required
- 710 years of experience in IT services / related industries, with proven expertise working with Life Sciences / Pharma clients.
- Additional exposure to Retail and Consumer Goods industries is a plus.
- Solid track record in IT project implementations and understanding of large-scale tools and technologies- within the Life Sciences / Pharma sector.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large project deliveries in an onsite/offshore delivery model.
- Strong experience with the IT Services sales cycle; able to build and grow accounts from the ground up.
- Exceptional relationship management skills with stakeholders
- Effective communicator with the ability to lead multicultural teams.
- Strong leadership qualities: issue resolution, negotiation, and driving business outcomes.
- Self-motivated, high-energy, and results-oriented professional with a passion for achieving goals.
This role is ideal for a natural sales leader with strong business acumen, deep understanding of the Healthcare & Life Sciences industry, and the drive to build long-term client partnerships across ASEAN.
