Job Description

We are representing our client, a leading ICT solutions provider, in seeking a Business Development Manager to support their business expansion.

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing opportunities for IT solutions. This role focuses on building senior-level client relationships, understanding business and technology needs, and positioning solution-based offerings to support customers digital transformation and operational objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for IT solutions across target markets and industries.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and partners to establish long-term client relationships.
  • Understand customer business and technology challenges and translate them into solution-based proposals (e.g., systems integration, enterprise applications, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, data, and digital platforms).
  • Collaborate with presales, solution architects, and delivery teams to design and propose fit-for-purpose IT solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, and business cases aligned with client requirements.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, provide revenue forecasts, and achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development or solution sales within IT, technology, or systems integration environments.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT solutions and consultative selling approaches.
  • Track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a target-oriented environment.
  • Experience selling enterprise IT solutions, managed services, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Exposure to public sector, critical infrastructure, or regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with RFP-driven sales and long sales cycles.
