Mills Recruitment is partnering with a global technology company specialising in modular data-center solutions. We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Manager to drive business growth across Singapore and Southeast Asia. The successful candidate will build and manage relationships with clients and partners in the data-center, edge-computing and infrastructure sectors while working closely with regional and headquarters teams to achieve strategic goals.

Sales Manager

Role Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Sales Manager to support the growth of our data center business in Singapore, with potential engagement across Southeast Asia. This role requires a sales professional with experience in the data center ecosystem, including upstream partners (hardware vendors, infrastructure providers) and downstream clients (enterprise customers, cloud service providers). The candidate will focus on building client relationships, driving revenue, and supporting strategic initiatives in collaboration with regional and headquarters teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales Execution & Strategy Support

- Support the development and implementation of sales strategies to grow market presence in Singapore and across Southeast Asia.

- Collaborate with regional teams and headquarters to align on sales goals and initiatives.

Client & Channel Management

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and channel stakeholders.

- Work with upstream and downstream partners to identify opportunities and deliver value-added solutions.

Business Development

- Identify new business opportunities within assigned territories or client segments.

- Execute tailored sales plans considering local market needs and regulations.

Team Collaboration & Leadership

- Coordinate with the sales team to ensure effective pipeline management and goal achievement.

- Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.

Revenue Growth & Reporting

- Drive revenue growth by managing the sales pipeline and closing deals efficiently.

- Provide market feedback and insights to support business development and product strategies.

Market Awareness

- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies relevant to data center solutions.

- Share insights with the team and leadership to help shape sales strategies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Experience

- 5-10 years of experience in sales within data center, cloud, or IT infrastructure sectors.

- Established relationships and network within the data center ecosystem.

Skills

- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.

- Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics.

- Ability to understand technical solutions and translate them into business value.

- Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential to manage communications and media relations with regional teams and partners across China and Southeast Asia.

Technical Expertise

- Knowledge of data center solutions, including colocation, cloud services, and interconnectivity.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
