Our client is an established and growing player within the dairy and food ingredients space, known for its strong commitment to quality and product excellence. As part of its continued expansion in Singapore, the business is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead growth within the foodservice channel.

This is a high-impact, field-based role suited for a true hunter who thrives on building new relationships, opening doors, and converting opportunities into long-term partnerships. You will play a pivotal role in expanding the brand's footprint across cafés, bubble tea chains, hotels, airline caterers, and institutional F&B operators, acting as both a brand ambassador and a key commercial driver in the market.

Responsibilities

You will take ownership of new business development across Singapore's foodservice landscape, proactively identifying and securing new accounts while managing the full sales cycle from initial engagement through to successful onboarding and repeat orders. Working closely with distributors and internal stakeholders, you will drive market penetration through a combination of strategic prospecting, in-market activations, and strong relationship management across key decision-makers including chefs, baristas, and procurement leads.

A key aspect of the role involves bringing the brand to life through compelling product demonstrations and culinary storytelling, translating product quality into tangible value for customers. You will also develop commercially sound proposals, participate in tenders and vendor registrations, and ensure strong execution across pricing, promotions, and account growth strategies. In parallel, you will maintain a disciplined approach to pipeline management and forecasting, while providing market intelligence to support broader commercial strategy.

Requirement

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in foodservice sales or business development within Singapore, with demonstrated success in opening new accounts and driving topline growth. You bring strong market connectivity within the F&B ecosystem, particularly across café chains, hospitality groups, or institutional foodservice operators, and are comfortable engaging stakeholders at all levels.

You are highly self-motivated, thrive in a field-based environment, and possess a strong commercial mindset with the resilience and drive required to succeed in a hunter role. Prior experience in dairy, food ingredients, or related categories will be advantageous, alongside an understanding of coffee, bubble tea, or culinary applications. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence through both technical and commercial conversations will be essential.
