Opportunity
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our logistics business. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with a strong understanding of 3PL, 4PL, or freight forwarding solutions, who can identify new business opportunities, build lasting client relationships, and contribute to the company's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the logistics and supply chain sector
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at potential and existing clients
- Respond to RFQs, tenders, and commercial inquiries in a timely manner
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and commercial offers
- Collaborate with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to deliver tailored logistics solutions
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast using CRM tools
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
- Achieve or exceed revenue and business development targets
- Represent the company at industry events, customer meetings, and networking activities
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within logistics, freight forwarding, 3PL, or 4PL
- Proven track record of winning new business and managing key accounts
- Strong knowledge of logistics services, supply chain solutions, and freight operations
- Experience handling RFQs, tenders, and long sales cycles
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
