About the Role
To achieve budgeted sales volumes and profit by expanding customer base and providing effective and efficient customer/agent management.
Responsibilities
- Business & Customer Development
- To increase customer data base
- To canvas and secure new accounts
- To promote import/export services offered by ECU Worldwide
- Manage and develop existing customer by increasing the trade volume
- To visit customers as per set targets weekly/monthly
- Ensure the profile of customers are maintained and updated so as customer service assistant may contact them on regular basis
- Monitor and follow up on tele calls made by CS on a weekly basis so as ensure business is generated
- Ensure service level is maintained for existing customers
- Prepare monthly sales plan and discuss with the team
- Perform market research to develop market intelligence data base and pricing
- Day to Day Operation
- To prepare quotations as requested by the customer
- Manage volume fluctuation of customer and cover lost accounts
- Prepare and manage sales campaigns
- Manage and monitoring the CS assistants by providing them with customer information and follow up on tele calling for new and existing customers
- To review and prepare monthly performance sales performance report and present report in the monthly sales meeting
Qualifications
- Minimum educational qualification required degree
Required Skills
- Good experience in relevant industry (NVOCC, Freight Forwarding)
- A great attitude and self motivated individual
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills
