About the Role
We are seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to spearhead our company's growth in the renovation and construction industry. This role goes beyond traditional sales - you'll be directly involved in identifying opportunities, securing projects, and shaping the company's expansion strategy. To reward performance, we offer a lean base salary with an attractive profit-sharing scheme, allowing you to benefit directly from the projects you bring in.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business leads and secure projects in interior renovation, fit-out, and construction sectors.
- Manage client relationships, negotiations, and contract discussions.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, tenders, and quotations (GeBIZ, BCI, Tender Board exposure is a plus).
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure proposals align with costing, timelines, and technical feasibility.
- Track market trends and competitor activity to identify emerging opportunities.
- Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to overall business development strategy.
Job Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, Construction, or related field.
- At least 2-4 years of sales or business development experience (preferably in renovation or construction).
- Familiarity with GeBIZ, BCI, and Tender Board platforms is an advantage.
- Strong communication, presentation, and networking skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset - self-driven, goal-oriented, and results-focused.
- Own transport preferred (for client meetings and site visits).
Remuneration Package
- Basic Salary: S$3,000 - S$3,800 per month (depending on experience).
- Profit Sharing: Up to 10% of net profit on projects you secure, payable upon project completion and collection.
- Additional incentives for achieving sales milestones.
