About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager with a hunter mindset and a proven ability to drive business growth in the staffing and workforce solutions space. This is a pivotal role where you will be responsible for acquiring new clients, expanding existing accounts, and building strategic relationships across diverse industries. Key Responsibilities
New Client Acquisition (60%)
- Develop and execute a robust go-to-market strategy to acquire new clients across targeted sectors.
- Generate new leads through prospecting, referrals, market intelligence, and industry events.
- Open new client accounts and present value-driven workforce solutions that align with clients business goals.
- Conduct needs analysis to tailor staffing and HR solutions, ensuring consultative, client-focused engagement.
Account Management & Business Partnering (40%)
- Map client organizations to identify decision-makers and cross-sell opportunities across business units.
- Drive deep client engagement through regular business reviews, market updates, and hiring outlook discussions.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships through proactive communication, high-touch engagement, and personalized service.
- Maintain exceptional service levels to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, providing insights on talent trends, workforce planning, and market developments.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in sales, business development, or client servicing within Recruitment agency, HR services, or outsourcing industry.
- Demonstrated success in hunting, acquiring new clients, and cross-selling multiple solutions.
- Solid understanding of HR practices and Singapore employment legislation.
- Strong business acumen and ability to engage in strategic workforce discussions with C-level stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- CEI Certification required
