We are seeking an experiencedBusiness Development Manager (58 years)with a strong track record in sellingenterprise software, digital transformation solutions, and IT servicestoSingapore public sector agencies. The candidate will be responsible for driving new business growth, managing strategic government accounts, and expanding BCT's footprint across key ministries, statutory boards, and public service organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and close opportunities in theSingapore public sector, aligned with BCT's solution portfolio (analytics, AI/ML, digital transformation platforms, managed services, etc.).
- Build and manage strong relationships with senior stakeholders across government agencies and ecosystem partners (SIs, distributors, tech alliances).
- Drive the endtoend sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, solution positioning, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
- Work closely with delivery, pre-sales, and product teams to create tailored value propositions.
- Monitor Singapore GovTech trends, procurement frameworks (e.g., bulk tenders, SGTS), and industry developments to shape strategic account plans.
- Achieve annual revenue and pipeline development targets.
Skills
- 58 years of B2B enterprise software/services sales experience, preferably in analytics, digital transformation, cloud, or enterprise platforms.
- Provensales success in Singapore public sector, including familiarity with government procurement processes, tendering, and compliance requirements.Strong network within ministries, statutory boards, and relevant ecosystem partners.
- Ability to articulate technical solutions to business and IT stakeholders.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationshipmanagement skills.
- Highly self-driven, with strong planning, deal-structuring, and pipeline management capability.
- Understanding of GovTech frameworks, IM8 guidelines, and government ICT buying cycles is a strong advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related fields.
