Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction through proactive engagement and responsive service.
  • Identify and develop new customer accounts, generate leads, and proactively pursue business opportunities to meet sales targets
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to plan and implement strategic sales initiatives that enhance market competitiveness.
  • Coordinate and monitor sales activities to grow market presence and increase volume.
  • Arranging meetings with existing and potential customers to prospect for new business
  • Effective in negotiating the terms, price, delivery, and specification with customer of an agreement or sales contract and closing sales
  • Gathering and updating customer and market information
  • Support and participate in key customer meetings, sales presentations, proposal development, contract negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Liaise with internal project teams to ensure that all contractual obligations and delivery specifications are fulfilled accurately and on time.
  • Participate in internal training and product familiarization programs.
  • Internal reporting of sales progress
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and customer information in the company's CRM system.
  • Assist in resolving post-sales product issues and managing customer complaints.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of trade shows, exhibitions, and other marketing events.
  • Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstration.
  • Overseas travel may be required.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or BD function. Experience in marine product related sales would be added advantage
  • PC literate, proficient in English and MS Office applications.
  • Able to conduct and present oneself professionally
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service and sale skills.
  • Overseas travel may be required.
