Business Development Executive

Responsibilities

• Respond to customers enquiries on the company's logistics services, such as the trucking and yard storage capabilities and the respective service rates.
• Liaise with internal team members to fulfil customer requirements, respond to customer feedback, implement corrective actions and monitor progress/improvement of job orders.
• Ensure customers outstanding payments are cleared within the agreed credit terms. To follow up with overdue payments and other invoicing disputes/discrepancies.
• Assist management to track, monitor and assess trucking, yard and depot performance/utilisation and execution of job orders as given by customers.
• Assist the safety team in ensuring safe utilisation of logistics facilities and equipment and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including conducting internal safety audits, participation in regular safety meetings and Emergency Response training.
• Assist operations and safety teams to respond to customer and external stakeholder audits including audits on trucking and depot operations, ISO certifications and regulatory authorities requirements.
• To support the company's growth and expansion plans and perform additional tasks as required to meet the commercial department's needs and objectives.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
