About the role

We are looking for an ambitious and driven Business Development Manager to join our team at Dun & Bradstreet (Singapore) Pte Ltd. This is a full-time position based in the Downtown Tanjong Pagar Central Region. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for developing strong relationships with existing and new customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long lasting client relationships
  • Develop new business with existing and new clients
  • Conduct market research to identify prospective clients and understand their needs
  • Initiate and develop relationships with potential customers through cold calling, networking and other outreach efforts
  • Proactively identifying and converting new business opportunities to support the continued growth of our company.
  • Respond to inbound sales inquiries and convert these leads into new business
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with our marketing and customer success teams
  • Provide feedback to management on market trends, competitor activities and customer needs
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

What we're looking for

  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager or Key Account Manager, Business Development or Sales role preferably in B2B sales, selling database marketing solutions
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying, qualifying and closing new business opportunities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Proactive, self-motivated and resilient, with the drive to succeed in a target-driven environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand customer needs and recommend tailored solutions
