As a Business Development Executive (Insurance), you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Manage and maintain client relationships by handling enquiries, follow-ups, and providing product information
- Support business growth by identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling insurance products to existing clients
- Assist in new business conversion by explaining coverage, benefits, pricing, and policy details via phone, email, or face-to-face interactions
- Support policy renewals by monitoring expiry dates, following up on renewals, and ensuring continuous coverage without lapses
- Process quotations, policy issuance, endorsements, and related documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Prepare premium comparisons and ensure all supporting documents are complete and properly filed
- Maintain accurate records in internal systems, including renewal listings and client databases
- Support claims follow-up and participate in ad-hoc projects or process improvement initiatives as required
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in any field.
- Possess relevant insurance certifications (BCP, PGI, ComGI, HI)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the insurance industry or related field
