Role Overview
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for generating new business leads, managing existing accounts, and supporting sales-driven initiatives such as events, campaigns, and product launches. This role is critical to scaling revenue and building lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
A. New Business Acquisition
- Identify, qualify, and close new B2B, Horeca, retail, and corporate clients.
- Maintain a pipeline of leads and monitor progress in CRM systems.
- Attend trade shows, networking events, and exhibitions to generate business opportunities.
B. Existing Account Management
- Maintain strong relationships with current distributors, private label clients, and corporate accounts.
- Upsell and cross-sell products and services to maximize revenue.
- Provide insights and recommendations to internal teams on client needs and market trends.
C. Events & Marketing Support
- Plan and execute product launches, tastings, corporate workshops, and promotional events.
- Collaborate with Creative and Operations teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Gather market insights and trends to inform campaigns and product development.
D. Reporting
- Track KPIs, sales pipeline, and revenue growth.
- Provide weekly/monthly updates to management.
Requirements
- 2-5 years experience in business development, sales, or account management.
- Experience in F&B, lifestyle, or premium products preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Independent, proactive, and organized.
- Able to collaborate effectively with Creative, Operations, and Finance teams.
Success Metrics / KPIs
- Number of new clients or partnerships secured per quarter.
- Revenue growth from new and existing accounts.
- Conversion of event or campaign leads into sales.
- Accurate and timely reporting of pipeline and performance.
