Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to lead and accelerate our distributor-led growth strategy in Singapore and the broader region. This role is responsible for driving strategic business planning, identifying and securing new revenue opportunities, and building long-term, high-impact partnerships.
As a senior commercial leader, you will own distributor performance, manage key accounts, negotiate commercial agreements, and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure sustainable and scalable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic business planning to expand and optimize distributor networks in alignment with organizational growth objectives
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business and market expansion opportunities
- Drive lead generation initiatives, pipeline development, and partner onboarding efforts
- Lead contract negotiations, including commercial terms, pricing, and long-term partnership agreements
- Manage and grow key distributor and strategic accounts, ensuring performance targets are met or exceeded
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with distributors, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Provide market insights, competitive intelligence, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
- Mentor and guide cross-functional teams to support distributor success and operational excellence
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record in New Business Development, Lead Generation, and identifying scalable growth opportunities
- Strong expertise in Business Planning, with the ability to translate strategy into executable plans
- Demonstrated experience in Contract Negotiation and managing long-term commercial partnerships
- Solid background in Account Management, including performance optimization and relationship management
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Singapore
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is a plus
