We are seeking a Data Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and data-driven solutions for one of our clients in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements
- Work with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into data solutions
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Develop dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar
- Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to ensure data accuracy and availability
- Perform data validation and ensure data quality
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner
- Support business teams with ad hoc analysis and reporting needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst
- Strong knowledge of SQL and data querying
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Excel, Tableau)
- Commodity experience (preferably in middle office) as he will be facilitating the implementation of PL solutions
- Python, Databricks: Technical background to understand codes and pick up quickly
- Numerate and mathematical proficient to work through the numbers
- Good understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
