About Our Client

Our client is a leading international bank hiring a middle office professional to support its structured trade and working capital financing business across Asia. This role sits between the front office and key control functions, focusing on portfolio management, transaction execution, and ongoing monitoring of complex trade finance and supply chain financing structures.

Job Description

  • Support front office in the execution and ongoing management of trade finance, trade credit, and supply chain financing transactions
  • Oversee portfolio monitoring, including utilisation, compliance with facility terms, and internal governance requirements
  • Coordinate end-to-end transaction processes, including documentation, credit approvals, and deal implementation
  • Conduct transaction analysis, including due diligence, financial modelling, and collateral assessment
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (credit, legal, operations, compliance) to ensure smooth execution and risk alignment
  • Manage facility renewals, amendments, and client requests in a timely manner
  • Drive process improvements and enhance operational workflows across the transaction lifecycle
  • Maintain strong risk and control awareness in line with internal policies and regulatory standards

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
  • At least 8 years of experience in trade finance, structured finance, or working capital solutions within a banking environment
  • Strong understanding of trade credit, receivables finance, inventory financing, and supply chain financing products
  • Experience in middle office, transaction management, or portfolio management roles
  • Solid analytical and financial modelling skills (advanced Excel required)
  • Familiarity with legal documentation and transaction structuring processes
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
